What Makes You Come Alive?

Hi Friends,

I hope you all had a gentle Mother’s Day.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to honor motherhood not just with flowers, brunch, or a sweet Sunday, but with the deeper work of listening to who we’re becoming.

So, here's a little Momma Chill in Real Life update:

Last week, I put in my notice at Amazon. It feels both wild and deeply right.

Amazon stretched me in ways I’m genuinely grateful for. I learned a lot, grew a lot, and got to work on big, complex customer problems that helped me build real strategic muscle.

And I also had to get honest with myself. Not just about what I can do, but about what kind of work actually brings me into alignment.

A big part of that clarity came from revisiting my CliftonStrengths. My top strengths are Woo, Positivity, Communication, Adaptability, and Ideation, which basically means I come alive when I’m connecting with people, building new things, translating ideas, and helping others see what’s possible.

Amazon helped me see what I’m capable of. But this next chapter is about choosing a tighter focus on the strengths, values, and kind of impact I want to build from now.

I’m moving from using the strengths that helped me succeed to choosing the strengths that make me feel most alive.

And that distinction feels important.

Because so many of us are good at things that help us perform, achieve, or hold everything together.

But those are not always the same things that help us feel fully ourselves.

That’s one of the questions I’m excited to explore through Momma Chill:

What are you good at that helps you succeed, and what makes you feel most alive?

Thank you for being here early. It means a lot to build this with you in the room.
